Fitness Classes

 

Morning Fitness with Karen!!!

 

(8:15 - 9:00 a.m.) Monday & Wednesday 

 

Karen Rienbolt will conduct a 45 minute class. The first 20 minutes is a Cardio-Pumping Class using simple repetitive dance moves to make you forget you are burning calories.  The bench is also added to step up & down to the music to add a little variety and stamina to the 20 minutes of Aerobics. Your heart will be in tip top condition!  All levels can be accommodated from beginners to advanced in this class!  The last half of class will be dedicated to toning up each muscle group.  A variation of movements and equipment will be used including weights, resistance bands and a new smaller CORE BALL to help with the 20 minutes of body sculpting.

FULL BODY WORKOUT” - Do it for Yourself!! Do it for LIFE!!

(4:30 p.m.- 5:15 p.m.) Mon. & Wed.    Instructor: Karen Rienbolt

 

All ages will be able to do this class. From beginners to seasoned pro’s, you will benefit from this workout! Participants needs will be listened to and if need be, alternative moves will be substituted for ones that may be too challenging or just not for you.

 

Workouts vary, but are repetitive enough to pick up on easily. Classes will consist of Cardio portion with step and choreographed fun, easy dancing. We do some kickboxing and plyometric movements to encourage bones to take up the vitamins and minerals they need to make them healthy.  All workouts can be modified and made “Low Impact” if you aren’t able to do the High Impact Workouts or just want a more relaxing workout session.

 

Class is taught by Karen Rienbolt, who has her Masters Degree in Physical Education, has attended many continuing education training sessions and has many years of experience in the field of fitness.

PARTNER COMPETITION

September 6th - November 15th, 2018

 

Get your friends, co-workers or family and compete against other 2 person teams to become healthier! Teams of 2 will compete in a weight loss competition.  Teams will weigh in each week with the hopes of losing 1% of their teams total weight.  The competition will run for 10 weeks with the first weigh-in being on Thursday, September 6th.  Teams can weigh-in anytime between 5 a.m. - 9 p.m.  Both team members must weigh in each week to qualify for prizes. The final weigh-in will take place on Thursday, November 15th.  Rules and regulations of the competition can be picked up at the BRCC. Participants will be offered weekly incentives to keep them motivated on their journey to becoming more healthy. Cost is $30.00 per 2 member team.  The top three teams will win prizes.

 

INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION

January 10th - March 14th, 2019

 

Individuals will compete in a weight loss competition.  Participants will weigh in each week with the hopes of losing 1% of their total weight.  The competition will run for 9 weeks with the first weigh-in being on Thursday, January 10th.  Individuals can weigh-in anytime between 5 a.m. - 9 p.m.  The final weigh-in will take place on Thursday, March 14th.   Rules and regulations of the competition can be picked up at the BRCC beginning December 1, 2017.  Participants will be offered weekly incentives to keep them motivated on their journey to becoming more healthy.  Cost is $15.00 per person. The top three men and top three women will win prizes.
